I was born in Sicily, and in 1994 at the age of 18, I moved to Milan to attend La NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti -
Academy of fine Arts), where I obtained my degree as Fashion and Textile Designer, in 1998 with maximum results. |
Living in Milan I was completely absorbed
by the trendy mood of the Italian fashion’s capital, fully experiencing its creative aspects and I was also able to learn a disciplined
and international way of working.
In Milan I also started working as stylist and costume designer for commercial spots, film productions, musical video clips and
fashion photography.
I moved to Rome
in 2004 and still now I am falling in love
with it. There is no one day in which I do
not enjoy this my new city, I think the
most beautiful in the world. Here my
fashion taste has been enriched with love
for the artistic past, endless and unique,

as only Rome has, without forgetting the
characteristic gaiety of roman people in everyday life. Anyway, wherever I may
be in the world, people is always the
greatest source of my creative inspiration.
I observe with curious and positive eyes people living their lives, working, loving, playing, laughing, crying, getting excited,
and they are similar and different in the
same breath.
Humanity is the greatest
form of art of the life itself. My effort
is
to use just this in my job. I live my
job
as if it was a part of my body, I
couldn’t live without it, and I love
to
meet people who made of their job a passion.

My great heroes are Charlie Chaplin, Sergio Leone, Alfred Hitchcock, Tim Burton, Peter Greenway, Steven Spielberg,
Pedro Almodovar and Ferzan Ozpetek. What I whish for my life is to work with directors and photographers
who can convey by their films and photos the same emotions and feelings that these great directors gave me. |
